My first blog post! Where to begin….

My name is Maddy and I first started regularly crocheting around 5 years ago – I taught myself to crochet in 2014 but stopped and then picked my hook back up in 2020 and haven’t stopped since!

Over the years I have made amigurumi, blankets, decorations and wearables for family and friends and now I have finally decided to start a blog to document my crocheting journey.

My mum found the patterns and as she loves The Lord of the Rings I purchased the pattern and here they are!

I’m really pleased with how they turned out. The patterns were really easy to follow and had step by step pictures to support the process.

I love picking up my hook, starting a project (I think I have around 5 projects on the go at the moment!) and watching it gradually take shape. It’s definitely good for mindfulness!
